The Arusha Debate Championship 2026 brought together students from both primary and secondary schools across the region for two days of rigorous debate, eloquent public speaking, and intellectual competition. Hosted at Turkish Maarif School in Arusha on 14th & 15th March 2026 (08:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day), the tournament was graced by a United Nations Official as Guest of Honor.
Participants delivered powerful, well-crafted speeches on a range of topics. This category tested confidence, articulation, vocal projection, and the ability to hold an audience's attention from the opening word to the final call to action.
Teams clashed in structured rounds, constructing compelling cases for or against challenging motions. Critical thinking, rapid rebuttal, and effective teamwork defined the winners at every stage of the competition.
